✨Meet the Staff ✨

Next on our team, we’d like to introduce you to Pastor Ngoie! Ngoie has been a missionary, evangelist, and church planter in both the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia. He is the current Living Hope International Campus Pastor and does an amazing job shepherding the children and staff that live on our campus. Ngoie has done Biblical and Theological training in Zambia and Zimbabwe and pursued Advanced Leadership in the USA, as well as serving as the Principal and a lecturer at Kaniki Bible University College. Ngoie is passionate about raising and discipling the next generation of leaders as well as the spiritual development on the Campus. He has been married to his wife Beatrice for 40 years and has been blessed with 7 God fearing children who are all serving the Lord. Ngoie is a huge blessing to Living Hope and we are so thankful for his leadership on our campus!

✨Meet the Staff!✨

We have an AMAZING team at Living Hope, and we want to introduce you to some of them, starting with Gift!

Gift is the Teacher In Charge of School Development and Outreach, and has been vital to the foundation of LHCA. He is also a trainer of Jolly Phonics, and has a passion for developing literacy in young learners. Gift has been walking with the Lord since 2013 and has completed multiple programs in discipleship and missions training, as well received his diploma in Primary Education with FCE (Foundation for Cross Cultural Education). Gift and his wife, Jenifer, have been married since 2021 and have a beautiful daughter named Samuela.

Gift, thank you for everything you do for our LHCA kids!

Living Hope is immensely proud of Ackson Nkonde!🎓👏🏻

Ackson has been in the Living Hope family since the start, and this spring graduated from Lusaka Apex Medical University with his degree in medicine. Ackson is not only brilliant, but he loves Christ and is a wonderful brother and friend. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Ackson Nkonde on this great achievement! 🥳

Living Hope is excited to an update from our new President - Shay Glover!

Shay has been serving with Living Hope since 2012, and makes frequent trips to Zambia, along with her husband Mike. Below is a small excerpt from Shay's first "Letter from the President".

"It has been a dozen years since I made my first trip to Zambia. Though I initially thought it would be a one-time experience to go on a mission trip to Africa, God had other plans. I really did fall in love with the children that were in Living Hope’s care and quickly realized I had to go back … which I now have done many times. I have been a child sponsor since that first trip and gradually increased my involvement, joined the Board of Directors, and now have been blessed to serve as President as we continue to fulfill the mission God has for us.

In spite of the difficulties of the past several years as we faced disappointment and unexpected challenges, we have marveled at how God has walked us through it. There have been points along the way where we really couldn’t see the path forward, but God did! Walking in faith, we have emerged stronger, and Living Hope is in an exciting place with much to look forward to. We are building an amazing team of leaders on our campus who truly feel called to serve the orphaned and vulnerable children from the surrounding area.

Your faithful support is invaluable and so I sincerely thank you on behalf of the children we serve. I look forward to working together as we follow the journey God has planned!"

Congrats to the class of 2023! 🎓👏🏻

We want to celebrate and congratulate Beatrice, Esther, Lavenda, Bwalya, and Donald for successfully completing Grade 12 and Graduating from Grace Academy! We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing how God will use them as they head to University and beyond. Even though we celebrated their graduation today, they officially graduated in December 2023, and are completing a gap year program before starting University in 2025.

We are so thankful for our LHCA team! These people are committed to excellence and are excited to use their gifts to raise up the next generation of Zambian students. In less than 3 weeks, we will have 75 orphaned or vulnerable children sitting in these seats, eager to begin the new school year. Most of these children have sponsors, and we are so thankful for the generosity of so many of YOU!

The school year has not yet begun in Zambia, but we officially opened our school with a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for Living Hope International Zambia Christian Academy! 🎉

It is our deepest desire that through this school, children would be “Empowered by grace, and Instructed by truth”. This was a joyful celebration for our Zambian and United States leadership as we gathered together to pray and celebrate this milestone.

The building is built, the staff is hired and trained, and the materials are all in place - all that is left is for students to fill the seats!

Since 2006, Living Hope International has been growing. Over the past 17 years we have grown from a small orphanage in the city of Ndola, Zambia to a thriving campus with that provides care for 36 children, engages the surrounding community, and grows coffee to support the ministry. We are so thankful for each of the 100 golfers that came out to support Living Hope International this year! The weather was beautiful (minus one brief rain shower), and we had an amazing day celebrating what God is doing through Living Hope and raising funds for the future.
