Our Blue Room friends are making apple pies with the apples they picked! What a great way to develop math skills and fine motor skills too!
Our Blue Room friends are learning all about apples and had a fun time making "apple pies" together....imagination time in dramatic play using fine motor skills and math skills is wonderful to see!!
Today we had a super surprise for Miss Maria who is retiring after many years of teaching and giving so much of her heart to families and staff at Discovery! We presented her with a special sculpture and the children sang her favorite song "You Are My Sunshine". It was a wonderful way to celebrate an extraordinary woman!
