Costa Rica’s cities may not be the largest but there is still much to see and experience. There’s so much rich history to explore and learn about in this small and beautiful country!

Not known for extravagant architecture, Costa Rica does however boast some unique architecture due to heavy Spanish influence. The art museum in this picture was Costa Rica’s international airport main terminal and control tower.

Comfort food comes in all ways. Ever had mango slices with salt? You’ll see this delicious snack on many of Costa Rica’s streets. Vendors find congested streets and high traffic areas to find those who need just a little something to hold them over.

Spring is about a month away! In Costa Rica, it’s still the dry season and a great time to visit. If you love the winter, enjoy this last month.

Most people agree that ground coffee stays “fresh” for 1-2 weeks. If you’re really into coffee, you would say ground coffee stays fresh for a few hours at most. This is why we only sell whole bean coffee. We want to give you a really fresh cup of coffee every time you drink Noribette’s Coffee. And the best way we can do that is to give you freshly roasted beans that you can grind yourself. We won’t get into electric versus manual coffee grinders here because that can be a lengthy discussion. Grind your coffee as you will but do it shortly before you’re going to brew it, even if that’s a week away.

It’s the rainy season in Costa Rica. Coffee anyone?!?!

Unfortunately some of the best coffee in the world produced in Costa Rica doesn’t get enjoyed by the country’s own people. In fact, Costa Rican’s often drink the lowest grade coffee available on a daily basis. The same is often true of tourism. Costa Rican’s live in a tourist country but don’t typically enjoy the wonderful tourist activities the country has to offer.
