Active Childcare by Milwaukee Yard

Messy fun in our infant class! Our little ones had a blast learning about pigs in the mud, using toy pigs to explore textures and get hands-on with some squishy, muddy play. 🐷🌾

Our little ones are having a blast during our outdoor water days! From splashing in the sensory table to playing in the sprinkler and playing with hoses, it's all smiles and giggles here. 🌞

Sensory play helps children explore and develop their five senses while having lots of fun. Look at all the fun we are having with musical toys and sand/dirt play.

We are currently enrolling children in our child care and after school programs.

Our After School Sports campers enjoyed our last off school day of the year. We may have been a small group (many school districts still had school) but we had a blast at mini golf and even got to enjoy some ice cream. It may have been our last off school day but our summer camp program begins June 10th. Still spots available!

Thank you to all the families who showered our teachers with appreciation this week for Teacher Appreciation Week. The teachers enjoyed all the food, gifts, cards and flowers.

We also had Muffins with Mom/Special person and had a great turn out.

Artsy Tuesday-The twos enjoyed creating a new classroom sign using paint dabbers.

Third day week of young child-Work Together Wednesday! Each classroom had the children work together decorating a letter for the front bulletin board.

Week of the Young Child-Tasty Tuesday! Enjoying a yummy lunch of tacos! Nutritious meals served daily and tacos happen to be one of our favorites!

Milwaukee Yard – Welcome to Milwaukee Yard We’re a state-of-the-art athletic and family recreation center located in the Milwaukee suburb of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Learn more about our facility and check out our different athletic programs, as well as our daycare and birthday party services.

A benefit of enrolling in Active Childcare is Preschool and Pre K children can sign up for Mighty Tykes soccer and go to soccer class while in care at a discounted price. The children learn baseline skills such as dribbling, scoring and passing through a variety of activities such as drills and fun games!

Our Families and staff had lots of fun and laughs at our Family Valentine Party on Friday. A photo Kissing booth, making valentines, tattoos, treats and playing in the play area. Families enjoyed time together in this fun atmosphere set up by their teachers. Here are just a few pictures from that night.

The love of reading starts young! Our littles enjoy looking at books and listening to the teachers read stories!

Today the children had a blast with their stem activity: Creating Gingerbread Houses. We talked about how we used the frosting to hold the crackers together just like builders use cement to hold the bricks of a house together.
