May is Mental Health Awareness Month. At Roehl Transport, we support our teammates and empower them to seek help with their mental health when needed.

We recently provided QPR (Question. Persuade. Refer.) training and resources to our teammates to assist someone going through a mental health crisis. We have currently trained over 180 employees and will continue to make our teammate’s mental health a priority. The CVSA's International Roadcheck inspection blitz kicks off today across the U.S. This year, inspectors will place special emphasis on tractor protection systems and drug and alcohol possession during the Roadcheck.

As always, complete proper, thorough pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections to ensure your equipment is in proper working condition and the securement of your load is safe and legal. If you identify any maintenance issues, please contact our teammates in maintenance and they will help you.

Inspectors will also enforce other driving regulations including seat belt use, alcohol and drug regulations, speeding, proper lane use and others.

Roehl Transport will pay you to get your CDL & earn a great living in a job as a truck driver.

Here are the basics of the program:

Training to obtain your CDL is part of the job.
You are hired and paid as an employee on day 1.
Your paid CDL training is three weeks and is available in multiple locations.
After you have your CDL, you'll continue your on-the-job training as a long haul truck driver with Roehl.
If you were to go to a CDL school, you would not get paid while you are training AND you'd have to come up with the tuition for the school.
