Let's celebrate PING! 🎻🎷🥁 OPRF Museum will host a reception and program from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of PING! (Providing Instruments for the Next Generation). Come learn about PING!’s history and where it is headed today through a panel with those impacted by the organization, moderated by PING! Executive Director Michelle Dybal and PING! President Sarah Shirk. PING! is a 25-year-old, community nonprofit organization providing band and orchestra instruments, mentoring, workshops, and access to lessons, music camps, and trips to students in need in grades 4-12 in Oak Park and River Forest public schools.
