The evolution of an idea. Live From Mama Dog Studios has grown into something that Mani Draper and the team at Corduroy Media can’t help but be proud of.

The series began as one that was rooted in music but just as music overlaps with artistry of all forms, so must the show. The expansion was organic, including conversations with filmmakers, creatives, and entrepreneurs. It has become a space that highlights changemakers and their stories and brings the community together to celebrate these people and this place, Oakland.

We are excited to see how it’s grown, and can’t wait to see where we can take it. Big thanks to and Oaklandside for sitting down with us, letting us tell our story and share it with the community.
