Detox Journal Day 21 of 30.
It’s been 3 weeks now. Those crazy sugar cravings I was having have subsided a lot at this point. I’m not feeling so tempted as i was before, although this week I’m going to make a sorbet with fruit. It needs to be done, I think it’ll be good too.
I went to a concert and had a lemon drop and fries, didn’t have too many options there but I coulda got two drinks I only got one, so I’m good fr!
Current No’s:
Red Meat, Beverages (except Water & Fresh Juice), Rice, Sugar or Artificial Sweeteners, Dairy, Bread, Pasta and Fried Foods
Let’s update the No’s list:
White meat (chicken/ turkey), Processed foods 😅
I’m debating taking out eggs because I have tomato’s at home. 😬 what yall think I should do? Take them out this week or next week?!
30 Day Detox Journal: Day 15
Im two weeks in officially. My focus has been being transparent about what I’m eating because it’s not all fruits and veggies all the time yall, I’m easing into this, and building my discipline with food.
This week I had really been craving sweets, and it didn’t help that there was tasty desserts everywhere I turned. Well I decided on Tuesday that I needed to cut them out. By Thursday, I was eating a bag a chips, and decided I probably need a parasite cleanse, because my body wants these sweet and salty foods. Just trying to be transparent about the things that I’m eating.
The No’s List:
Red Meat, Rice, Beverages (exp. water & fresh juice), Pasta, Fried Foods.
No challenge this week keeping the No’s off my plate. But it is time to add three more.
+ No sugar or artificial sweeteners, dairy, or bread!
Today I broke my fast at 1pm with my 16oz of Green Juice. Decided to go sit in the sun as I drank from my cup. Grateful. 🌱
Detox Journal Day 12 of 30.
At this point of my detox, I have been having a difficult time really letting the sugar go. It’s been a year since I detoxed, and I really need to work on my sugar/sweet cravings. Because of how difficult it is I realize I really need this detox from it, but I’d be a fool not to tell you building a discipline with foods we eat can be a little challenging.
No’s list:
Red Meat, Rice, Flavored beverages (excluding water, and fresh juice), Pasta and Fried Foods.

Not pictured the cake and cookie I ate today too 😫 technically not on the No’s List but I know I need to chill on the sweets.

Day 1, Week 1 of my detox.
This week I am cutting out red meat, rice and any flavored beverages (excluding fresh juice and water).
I’ve seen the most success with my detoxing when I take a little bit out of my diet at a time instead of trying to cut things out cold turkey.

Today I started day 1 of my 30 day detox. I originally meant to start on Monday, but it just didn’t work out that way for my schedule. It made me think about how so often we wait to do things, and put it off until Monday, and then Monday comes and we’re still not prepared.
So here’s my message to you. Start today, start right now, stop putting it off because you think there will be a better time. The time is NOW.
Alright yall WE are about to cleanse again! I personally have not cleansed since June 2023. It’s way over due.

A weekly juice I make. The green Geo genetic Juice. At this point I’ve made it so many times so I do my own thing when making it.
I used:
Cucumber, Celery, Green Apples, Green Pears, Cilantro, Parsley, Ginger, Lemon, and Cayenne Pepper.

Grocery Planning & Shopping for my 72hr Green Detox went like this.
I had been wanting to do a cleanse for the holidays and this felt like the best one to do.
I put together a list of all my fave green veggies first, then decide what juice and meals I could make. Made a bomb ass celery and grape juice, a fire dandelion and kale salad, and an amazing creamy cilantro pesto for my zoodles.😋🌿
I spoke on this cleanse being great for my intuition, but it equipped my body with plenty of iron I’ve barely been cold since.
What I have learned about eating and drinking all these greens is that it can cause bloating. I didn’t even consider greens causing bloating so the next time, I will be sure to make ginger shots / ginger juice to help with digestion.
I’m sure I’ll be doing another one this month after Christmas. 🧃🎅🏾

I’m in week 5 of my quarter 2 cleanse. I have removed about 11 different things from my diet, and my meals have intentionally been fruit and vegetables.
Even when I did back slide and have sweets and bread last weeks I continued to eat clean for the majority of the time.
Going into week 5, I am thinking to continue eating clean for the remainder of this month. Just Fruits and Vegetables. 🌱🧃

I haven’t had cereal in so many years mostly because I can’t have the milk, and i don’t like it with the alternative milk, but then i realized that cereal really is all sugar. This the bowl of cereal I should have grew up eating.

I’ve always wanted to cleanse but never did it. I attempted to start many times but never seen it through mostly because I lacked preparation.
I challenged myself to really cleanse my body for the first time on March 5th, 2023. It wasn’t easy at all but I stuck with it as best as I could for 30 days. My plan is to get better and more disciplined with these cleanses.
