Redesign & Lovely Day

This week, we tidied up and put a fresh coat of html the store website landing page.

Lovely Day is open for business every Friday & Saturday evening. We have indoor and outside dining with heaters and patio fire pit.

As a Graceful Box supporter tried and true, you can receive a 30% discount on food. Just let the server know by showing them this email or a printout. We have a full bar with some great hand crafted cocktails.

The menu is welcoming and features Flannery beef, Llano Seco pork, Cook's Venture Heritage Chicken, Mt. Lassen Trout, high quality produce from our neighboring farms, and fun desserts for the kid in all of us.

This weekend's specials include a shrimp pupusa (think of a shrimp taco on a handmade tortilla stuffed with cheese), seared tuna with spring flavors and a brownie sundae!

We take reservations, and have a private room for parties up to 8. We can make your first birthday get together after SIP special!

Happy first day of Spring🌱

Springing Forward

It sure feels like spring is beginning and with it a bit more hope to resume more activities outside of the cocoons we've been in the last year.

It was exactly one year ago that all of our spring events had effectively been cancelled and we were left with questions and fears far outpacing solutions and facts. Here we are today and patience has been the bedrock value we've had to remember and return to on a weekly basis. We have let go of beloved employees, experienced tragic loss of life, and still try to keep on trying, finding some sense of motivation through a mix of desperation, inspiration and service to the people close to us and the greater community at large in the Bay Area. One hair brained idea after another to find something that works.

Now we are on to the next idea. Lovely Day, a restaurant/eatery, bar, and . . . restrictions lifted, private event space.

We are cooking, tasting and testing dishes, honing in on aesthetics and fine tuning a concept to start serving for limited in person dining soon. See some pics of a few items above. We really want to host and see people, so we are manning the train, checking the cabins, engine, rails and getting ready to leave the depot en route to picking up a few passengers on this next adventure.
