Every week we spend the first half of our team-wide call just spending time together. Working remotely means this is really the only time we're all together "face to face". We usually bring a question to the table (we rotate who chooses it) and it brings up the most interesting, fun, delightful bonding moments. Today we're talking about our worst haircuts ever and it's golden.

951 businesses completed their B Corp Certification in 2021, a 28% increase from 2020. We're hopeful that this upward trend will continue as more and more companies embrace their opportunity to create positive change. Great things happen when businesses use their work as a force for good!

This week we're celebrating the launch of HousingLab.co, an organization founded in 2019 as part of UC Berkley's Terner Center for Housing Innovation (also a Mangrove client!). The Housing Lab aims to identify and accelerate early-stage ventures with the potential to make housing more affordable and fair. Our team is proud to support their important work!

We recently launched a new website for HERBL, a family-owned business that has emerged as the leading cannabis supply chain company in the largest cannabis markets in the US. Their fresh site not only looks amazing, but the back-end system makes ongoing updates easy for their team. We're also proud of the robust digital menu our dev team added to the site. We recently launched a Webflow site for Supportive Housing Community Land Alliance (SHCLA), which provides environmentally sustainable housing for people living with serious mental health challenges in Alameda County, CA. When we first connected, they had a one page website that collected focus group surveys, but they were ready to create a more robust digital hub. Accessibility and the potential to expand their site as they grow were primary requirements for the SHCLA team. We're proud to report that they now have an accessible, multilingual site that beautifully communicates their story and promises flexibility for the future.
