Shoebox Farms is a teeny tiny urban farm comprised of a mixed flock of spoiled chickens, covey of quail, and whatever happens to be growing at the time.
Shoebox Farms was born of low blood sugar and and a partner who convinced me I needed a fluffy little chick while we were at the feed store picking up food for his goats. From the humble beginnings of one chickens named Breakfast Butt, Shoebox Farms is now home to a mixed flock of happy hens who lay a rainbow of eggs, a covey of cotournix quail, and whatever I feel like growing in any given seaso
