Prom Season is upon us and there is no shortage of glamorous updos this season 💁🏼‍♀️

These two Beauties had Stylist Deanna work her formal hair magic and they were stunning.

Here are some tips before heading to the salon for your formal hair style:

1. Yes, we prefer you do not freshly wash your hair before your appointment.
It’s too soft and silky and makes it extremely difficult to hold curl/shape.

2. If you must wash it prior to your appointment, PLEASE put a product in it that provides volume such as a mousse.
🗣️FULLY DRY YOUR HAIR. This is so important because when booking formal hair, the timing does not allow for a blowout on top of your formal hair style.
Your 1 hour appointment has now turned into 2 if your Stylist must dry it first. Nobody wants to be late for pictures 🥲

3. DO NOT EVER USE A FLAT IRON ON YOUR HAIR PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT!
This one is so important🧐
Your hair has memory and once you use heat to flatten the cuticle, it’s almost impossible to change the hair memory to curl.
We will take care of smoothing as well, promise😉

In today’s salon, Saturdays are no longer the busiest or most requested day of the week.
