NEGA Addiction Recovery
Christian Discipleship, Faith Based Addiction Recovery, Guidance, encouragement and support for Fami
We look forward to tonight’s special event! We’ll be celebrating our second year, giving out service awards and the rare 4 Book completion awards, celebrating with Chili and Fries Surprise and a cake by Kim Bell!! See you at 7!
This is a very important lesson for anyone! Join us this Thursday at 7 PM.
God places every Christian in situations that will try our faith. If we respond properly it will produce a little patience and generate a Joy found only in the Holy Spirit!
We grow spiritually when our “will” (what we want, feel and think) is wounded by the circumstances God puts in our life.
Those circumstances that are in your life right now are there to break your will so your life in Christ can be developed and get sweeter.
A good friend of mine once said it this way - “God wants to blow a hole through your soul so His light can shine through your life.”
Let your light shine today!
— Mitch Gowan
1 Corinthians 8:1-8 is basis for the RU message tomorrow night. It’s about Agape love - God’s love.

We can do a lot of things and make a lot sacrifices for undeserving people. But if those acts of kindness (goodwill) aren’t done under the influence of the Spirit’s love, we won’t bring a positive effect into that person’s life. No matter how much we sacrifice or how big of a sacrifice we make.
- Mitch
Are you willing to fight for the pure life?
Join us weekly at 7 PM on Thursdays to learn of and how to use the correct “weapons” in the fight against your addiction(s). We’re here to help you!
We meet at 4263 Martin Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542
“I didn’t know how to stop.”
This was the startling realization of a young man on his way to jail as consequences of his addiction.
Unfortunately, this is the case for many addicts, even without the consequences of jail. They live captive in their own strongholds of alcohol, po*******hy, smoking, illegal drugs, abuse of prescription drugs, gambling or combination of these.
But this man found VICTORY IN JESUS! The truth of God’s Word set him free — and not only free himself, but now he leads other men and women to this same victory through RU Recovery.
You or someone you know needs this same victory! Come see us tonight at NEGA Addiction Recovery!! We meet every Thursday at 7 PM at Oakwood Baptist Church - 4263 Martin Road, Flowery Branch.
Heads up! We’re moving our meetings from Fridays to Thursdays, starting next week on March 16th!!
Mark 5:1-7
This man with all these problems — this demoniac — came out to meet Jesus. But he didn’t necessarily come out to repent, or change his position. He didn’t come to ”get right”.
Verse 6 says “But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him.”
He came out trying to worship Jesus in his own power. But what he found was the very act of worshipping Jesus with unrepented evil inside of him was torture.
vs. 7b “……I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.”
If we have unrepented sin in our lives we’re going to find it hard or even torture just to go to church. At the very least, it will make us ineffective for the cause of Christ.

Addiction affects 1 in 4 people regardless of age, gender, nationality, or status. Our desire is to take the Truth that Makes Free to every man, woman, and child to Break the Chains, and Cycle, of Addiction.
Our Mission
RU Recovery Ministries is a faith-based recovery program bringing transformation to people and communities everywhere.
ONLY JESUS
Our life and our legacy is ONLY JESUS.
ALWAYS COMPASSION
We should ALWAYS show COMPASSION toward people who don’t know Jesus as well as to those who already know Him.
DAILY DEVELOP
People and teams do not naturally grow stronger over time. Growth must be intentional. We want to purposefully add value to others and DAILY DEVELOP the plan that God is working in their life.
Join us tonight (Friday) at 7 for a special message on spiritual oppression. There’s hope in Jesus!
The Ten Principles of RU
