Come out, bring the children
Hello this fine autumn day. This morning we started bright and early with our praising God and studying his word. In Bible Discovery Hour we studied the book of Joshua with the focus scripture: Joshua 6:2-3, 4b, 12-20B and the Lesson title “God Is Victorious”.
At 9am we went into the 2nd part of our praising God and this time we listened to his word. Sis. Michelle James gave us a prayer of Praise and Giving. Exh. Maime Mann with the church read Ezk 33:1-10. Today, we worship God a little differently…we worship God through songs and showing our talents to God. It is a little difficult to explain; I can only say you missed a truly beautiful experience in worshipping God here at Mt. Tabor.
We are here each Sunday: Bible Discovery Hour at 8am, AM Worship Service at 9am, Each Wednesday for Bible Study at 6:30pm

Hello, Facebook Family, today at Mt. Tabor we had a great time with God and our family. We started this morning at 8am with Bible Discovery Hour. This week we studied the book of Deuteronomy and the Lesson title was "The Heart of the Law" with the focus scripture of Deuteronomy 10:12-22; 16:18-20.
At 9am we started our morning worship service with Rev. Linda Parker presiding. Exh. Kim Grimsley gave a prayer of Thanks to God and Exh. Marian Cooper read Psalm 34. Rev. T. Patricia Nelson came today and gave us a teaching lesson/word from God. The focus scripture was Roman’s 12:1-2 and the subject “We offer unto God our sacrifice”. I am only going to give you three key points from her message: 1st- Always give God your best (as a living sacrifice); 2nd- your sacrifice must be acceptable to God; and 3rd-Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice…he gave up his life for our sins. The best point: with a sacrifice something has to die…killing that worldly flesh. That life you had before God must die…THIS IS YOUR TRUE SACRIFICE TO GOD.
