The results of Friday’s frame game are as follows: the red frame received one vote, as did the silver. The green frame received three votes, and the black received six, making it the favorite. I would choose the red one, with the green being my second pick. But all of them are beautiful with this piece! Thanks, as always, for the input!

This big guy is ‘Space Cowboy’ at 48” x36”, in Acrylic. He’s another of Mike Knapp’s wonderful creations and makes me smile. 😊 Seeing these in person is a different experience altogether. Available at CC Fine Arts, 3325 E Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala. We’re open until 6:00 today.

Congratulations to Mike Knapp! His painting Symbiosis was accepted into the permanent collection of Beacon College in Leesburg.

A shot of Laurel Davern (L&M Arts), one of our favorite jewelers, working in her Lancaster NY studio. Laurel also has a studio in Ocala. I’ve visited her Ocala studio, and I can tell you that jewelers have all of the fun toys! Saws, torches, little grinders…. 😁 The combination of great tools and pure talent produce wonderful things! The newest hospital in Ocala is the UF Health Ocala Neighborhood Hospital, on NW 35th Avenue. I stopped in there yesterday. What a beautiful facility it is!

We are proud to have supplied some of the art on the first floor. You’ll find two of Carlynne’s landscape/tree paintings there, along with one of Cindy Capehart’s grasses (Northwood Pond) and her beautiful tree that I love so much. I even spotted a Gary Borse piece there that we did not supply. Congrats Gary!

Our Friday Frame game is a fun one! This beautiful Mike Knapp painting, ‘The Final Straw’ is sold. But we have others by Mike. It didn’t sell until after I took these photos, so we’re going forward with the Frane Game.

When we first received these bright bold moulding samples I wondered what in the world would work with these?! Well, we found the answer in Mike’s work! Let us know your thoughts!

Just to be clear: upper left is the red one. Upper right is the silver one. Lower left is the black one. And the lower right is the green one. They’re all beautiful!

I felt as though I needed to enjoy a little calm to balance the crazy loud storms from the past few days. ☺️

The two Newy Fagan horses that were in the window went to a new home so we added three new ones. So pretty with the light coming through them!

We love the way Jenny Murin paints with glazes. She doesn't just make plates; she makes plates with paintings on them!

Esta Mann brought us a new little watercolor and ink painting. Who's the Boss?, 6x9. Now we know where Esta's inspiration comes from. We had the pleasure of visiting Esta and her donkeys last week! How cute!! 😍

We had a fabulous time at Mike Knapp's reception last night! If you couldn't make it and want to see all his wonderful work, you have until August 16th to see the full collection. Please come visit, they're absolutely worth seeing in person.

Our round and oval frame samples came in and they’ve gorgeous!!!

Whitney Powell is a force to be reckoned with, when it comes to fiber art! This piece is 100% hand stitched sea grass (many, many stitches!), incorporating cotten fibers, wire and drift wood into the design. It’s very earthy and very complicated at the same time! I love the various textures. It’s also a good sized piece, at approximately 33” in total height, and around 17” or so, in width. A bit tricky to measure this one. 😁

Not only is this Jenny Murin piece stunning, but it never needs water! 🥰

These dendritic quartz pieces by L&M Arts are some of my very favorites! The bezel is argentium silver, with 14k gold jump rings. The little ball at the bottom is gold also. I have one and I get compliments on it every time I wear it. We have a number of pieces to choose from.

One of the joys of having this gallery is the fun we have making arrangements - putting 2D and 3D art together so the color flows, using different shapes and sizes to create a path for the eye to follow. Creating wall arrangements is kinda like composing on the canvas.

Newy Fagan’s beautiful little horse is right at home with Jenny Murin’s plate. There’s just nothing cuter than pelicans wearing boots! 😁🥰

You know how much we adore our glowing stones, by Amy Lennard Gmelin. I always look forward to seeing the many creative ways she has to make each one unique and special. This one has these wonderful little dots painted around the opening, on the outside. Love love love it!

Jenny Murin brought us a brand new Birds on a Wire. The birds have some great texture and this one is 72" long!
