Tunnel to Towers retraces the final footsteps of FDNY Firefighter, Stephen Siller on 9/11/01 from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. The annual event pays homage to the 343 FNDY firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, 37 PAPD officers, 3 court officers and thousands of civilians who lost their lives on that day as well as those who have lost their lives in the decades since 9/11.

Congratulations to Mattias Varela, one of our Outbound Customer Care Team Members. While working at Massey full time, Matt is also the Head Coach for FC America, one of Florida’s most successful youth soccer clubs. This past weekend, Matt’s 2008 boys team won the preseason Orlando City tournament in Lake Nona, FL. The team played other teams from all over the state of Florida. Congrats Matt!

Our President & CEO, Tony Massey, spoke to a group of students at Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College last week as part of their Innovative Leader Series. Tony spoke about Family Business and Leadership in Fast Growing Enterprises and shared some of his own personal experiences as a Crummer alumni.

The Orlando Science Center recently premiered their largest and most ambitious exhibit with Life, presented by Dr. Sarah Layton. Life features animals in three immersive habitats (ocean, swamp and rainforest), providing an intimate exploration of our planet thanks to the animals that share it with us.

In the Ocean gallery, you can encounter various marine life in the touch tank, presented by Massey Services, and also enjoy a 360-degree viewing area full of colorful reef fish and sleek, shimmering sharks.

Massey Services' Gary Heath, Senior Director of Business Analysis, was on the OSC Board for two terms from 2018-2024. Massey's VP of Marketing, Rebecca Church, is now serving on the Board.

Earlier this month, two Massey Services customers made our 4th of July dessert. It looks like the Red, White & Blue cake was a great success and was quite delicious! The sweet taste of freedom! Thanks to Suzanne Pierce of Palm Harbor, FL and Doug Findley of Winston, GA for sending us pictures of their own Red, White & Blue culinary creations!

Massey Services is proud to support Talk of the Town Foundation’s Round Up for Charity Campaign benefiting the Jaysmiles Foundation. Jaysmiles was founded by the late John “Jay” Hunt, who worked at Massey Services for 9 and a half years as Senior Account Manager for South Orlando Commercial division.

Each month, Talk of the Town Restaurant Group Foundation raises funds for a nonprofit by asking customers to round up their check in support of the selected nonprofit. Massey Services is the proud sponsor of the Jaysmiles Charity Round Up dinner that was held in May and raised over $57,000.

Jaysmiles partners with local elementary schools to enhance award and recognition opportunities to students, teachers, faculty and support staff. The goal of the recognition programs is to change someone’s world in that moment, inspire kindness, and bring on a smile.

Massey Services sponsored the 8th Annual 4.9k CommUNITY Rainbow Run at City Hall in Downtown Orlando this past Saturday.

Hundreds of people attended showing support for the 3-mile race and event to remember the Pulse tragedy from 2016, honoring the 49 victims, their families, the survivors, first responders and all individuals impacted. The CommUNITY Rainbow Run is hosted by Strengthen Orlando, a nonprofit organization with the goal to construct a permanent memorial at the Pulse site.

It's that time of year again!

Our Benefits Department did a great job boxing up summer survival kits! These kits were shipped to all Massey Service Center Team Members to help them cool off during the scorching summer. Our volunteers assembled a Massey logoed insulated lunch bag which included hand sanitizer, foldable water bottle, foldable ice bag and a Massey logoed cooling towel.
