Break Barriers
Let's reduce poverty, unemployment, homelessness, and recidivism among the formerly incarcerated!
Break Barriers exists to reduce recidivism by providing access to housing, employment, education, mental health, and substance abuse treatment. Our goal is to create a world where communities are safer, more secure, and prosperous for all.
Are you ready for Give4marion? We are! The real success of Give4Marion will not be how much money we raise but the tremendous impact those dollars will have when nonprofits across Ocala/Marion put them to work! Join the giving on September 17-18th at https://www.give4marion.org/organizations/breakbarriers
Love the Phoenix House Florida and the amazing things they’re doing in our community!
We recently gave a tour of our Citra residential treatment facility to Robert and Amari from Break Barriers, a local non-profit that is working tirelessly to help individuals who are struggling with homelessness, unemployment, and recidivism among those who were previously incarcerated. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such wonderful community partners.

Willie Williams, an innocent man, spent 45 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Today, his conviction has been overturned, but the lost years can never be regained. His story is a powerful reminder that many share similar journeys of injustice and wrongful imprisonment.
Willie's story mirrors the struggles of many who face wrongful incarceration. It's a stark reminder of why iBreak Barriers Launch Good campaign matters. Every donation isn't just a contribution; it's a chance to rewrite stories, rebuild lives, and break the cycle of injustice.
Read Willie's powerful journey and see how your support can make a lasting impact. Join us in our mission to empower those seeking a fresh start after incarceration.

Jacksonville man focused on the future after 45 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit Willie Williams was convicted for robbery and attempted murder in 1976. The man who ID'ed him had been hypnotized to help his memory, an unreliable method.
Imagine reentering a world that has evolved beyond recognition, your dreams deferred by years of incarceration. This is the reality for those embraced by iBreak Barriers. Every dollar you donate is a lifeline, a chance for someone to reclaim lost time and rebuild their life.
Behind the statistics are human stories, narratives interrupted by incarceration. iBreak Barriers is our heartfelt response – a bridge to a future that aligns with the pulse of today, a guide for those deserving more than checkboxes on job applications.
Your generosity isn't just a donation; it's an investment in rewriting stories, rebuilding lives, and proving that every person, regardless of their past, deserves a chance to reach their full potential.
