Don't forget our Back-to-School Supply Drive taking place July 12 thru August 8. These supplies will be going to a very needy elementary school in Marion County. You can bring your donations to our next meeting this Thursday, July 11 or drop them off at the VFW where a box will be available for all donations. Please help us give these children the supplies they desperately need. Thank you in advance for any and all help!

Tammy will be preparing lunch on Wednesday, July 10 for anyone interested. She will be serving Meatloaf Hogies with Potato Salad and Dessert for only $7.50. Come out, support our Veterans and enjoy an inexpensive meal. You do not need to be a member to come and enjoy this meal which will be served from 12noon to 2pm at Angela Santos VFW Post 4781, 9401 SW 110th Avenue, Ocala, FL, phone 352-873-4781.

Wednesday, July 3, lunch of Chicken Cordon Blue Sandwiches, Macaroni Salad, Chips and dessert for only $7.50 and prepared by Tammy, one of our bartenders. Help support our veterans and stop by between 12Noon and 2PM to take advantage of the great lunch for a great price and also meet some of our members. Dining room is open for non-members.

Humbling Experince. The District President, Rita Burger, and Post 4781 Auxiliary President, Tracy Singh, were present for the funeral of WWII Veteran Staff Sergeant Henry Lee Stevens’ funeral. Stevens’ passed away on December 23rd, 1944. He was MIA since 1944. His remains were recently found. He was finally laid to rest on March 8th, 2024, almost 80 years later. He was 21 when he died. We thank him for his service. Words cannot describe the gratitude we have for him and his sacrifice he gave this country.

Great time celebrating these boys and their accomplishments at the Boy Scouts Court of Honor Ceremony on Monday!

A huge shout out to our volunteers at the VFW Auxiliary Post 4781 and Honor Guard!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 This past Tuesday Jean Sadler, Jean Destache, Donna Jeffcoat, Barbara Anderson, Darice Linden, Larry and Peggy Seville, and Heidi Brown were at the Fort McCoy Veterans’ Home serving for the Ice Cream Social.
Jerry Anderson presented a resident with a motorized scooter!! 😳😳 LOTS of great gifts and goodies were shared, along with Christmas Cards. We wanted to make sure our Veterans felt some Christmas Spirit and love. ❤️❤️ We hope you know you are all appreciated and loved!! Thank you for your service to our country!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
