Recently we helped a client address drainage issues using an innovation drainage solution. This Heathbrook commercial site fronting Hwy 200 was designed with an underground water retention system that maximized the amount of commercial space on the site. In the following images you can see the large chambers that were constructed below the final site grade. These chambers hold the stormwater run-off from the site until it is able to seep back into the ground in the same manner that an open Drainage Retention Area would. A portion of this underground drainage system is now covered by the new Bojangles restaurant’s parking lot.

Construction has commenced at 10th Street Villas. This site will have three beautiful triplexes for a total of 9 units. Each unit will also have its own garage. It's still early in the construction phase but be on the look out for more updates from this project. Construction by Cullison Wright Construction Corp.

Pastor Grant Wilkerson lays the cornerstone for the recently started United Holiness Church Multi-use building. This is an additional 5400sf building for the Church located at 1642 NW 3rd Street in Ocala. The new building features 3 classrooms, a large fellowship area and kitchen. Construction is progressing nicely.

Country Meats recently finished building another expansion on the east end of their building. In addition to a new parking lot and drainage retention area. Check out the collection of photos from the last few months to see what the site looked like during construction.

The Canterfield Assisted living facility on Hwy 200 is nearing completion. Take a look at some of our recent progression photos of the site.

Ocala Drive-in just finished constructing their new screen and projection room. They will now be able to have more showings with a quicker turnover rate between films. Be sure to visit, and enjoy one of only 7 remaining Drive-in movie theaters in Florida.

Don't forget to visit our friends over at Artman Country Smokehouse this weekend. Its the one place our employee's never get tired of.

Phase 2 of the Rolling Greens Community Center recently opened, featuring new athletic courts! Tennis, pickle ball, bocce ball, basketball, horse shoes and shuffle board have been professionally installed, to the highest standards of quality.
Another exciting upgrade at Rolling Greens was the redesign of 2 golf holes. The 15th and 16th holes were lengthened with a new green for the 15th hole, as well as a new tee box for the 16th hole. Drainage and utilities were accommodated in the modified design. Check out the great photos.

Here is the latest progress at Blue Ribbon Cleaning. The lime rock base of the parking lot has been thoroughly laid out, and will soon be paved. The building is nearing completion and looks great. There is still some drainage work left to be done, but the finish product is getting closer everyday.

Yesterday the whole office took a lunch trip to the recently opened Artman Country Smokehouse. As expected, the food was incredibly delicious with large enough portions to stuff everyone. We are proud to see another client’s idea become reality, and glad to have been a part of the design process. Much progress has been made on the Blue Ribbon Cleaning Site. Foundation has been poured, walls are going up, and Drainage areas have been dug. Check out the photos for a closer look.

The next phase at Heath Brook just started construction. Phase 2 of the Meadows will feature 84 home sites, with curb and gutter, water, sewer and underground electric. Home sites should be available in November 2016. Take a look at these videos to see the site progression so far.

Blue Ribbon Cleaning Company, Inc. recently held its ground breaking ceremony, located on South Pine between Ocala and Belleview, just south of the NOW Church.
Radcliffe Engineering designed the parking and drainage and obtained site plan approval from both Marion County and FDOT. The general contractor for the new building is Ethridge Construction.

There has been great progress on the Canterfield Assisted Living Facility. Here are some recent photos from the site.

We are pleased to co-sponsor one of the sculptures at “A Sculptured Affair,” Ocala’s new art exhibit at Tucscawilla Park, along with Curington Construction LLC and H.W. Barrineau & Associates, Inc.

“Diversity,” by artist Cecilia Lueza of Miami, Florida is now on display at the park along with 9 other unique sculptures. They will all be on display for the next 18 months, so be sure to check them out.

Artist Statement:
My work is a personal expression of my lifelong fascination with the visual effects of color. I create sculptures that rest between reality and myth with a focus on color and shape. The pieces are mostly figurative with an element of simplification or slight abstraction. I am interested in a dynamic interaction with the viewer, allowing a personal exploration of the work on a physical level. My sculptures convey universal meanings and embrace the dichotomy between content and form, as well as between two and three dimensionality.
Each piece is a blend of different materials that range from aluminum to high-tech polyurethane plastics, including concrete and steel. I see my sculptures as freestanding paintings that exploit the illusionistic effects of a third dimension.

Take a look at a few more updates from Artman’s Country Smokehouse. The parking lot and various concrete slabs have been completed. The well and water system is also finished. Thanks to Earl’s Well Drilling for the well and MIKE SCOTT PLUMBING for the great work on the Lift Station. The site is beginning to come together quickly. You won’t believe how delicious their barbeque is…

Here are some great photos of progress that has been made at the Artman’s Country Smokehouse site. Since the last update the roofing and outside wall texturing has been completed. Parking for the site, as well as the sidewalks and landings for the entryways have been prepared for concrete. The lift station and grease trap have also been installed.
