In Lunar New Year parades, musical instruments such as drums, gongs and cymbals are played loudly to keep the “bad luck” monster away. One traditional instrument used during celebrations in China is a double-headed drum known as the bo lang gu.

"Winter" is one of "The Four Seasons," violin concertos composed by virtuoso violinist and composer Antonio Vivaldi around 1718-1720. From falling snow, gusts of wind, and chattering teeth to the warmth of an indoor fireplace, this influential concerto uses sound to evoke the imagery of the season.
