Are you a fan of bangles/cuffs? I love the statement look but prefer the more delicate of the two to wear on a regular basis. ☺️

The nature of this mold doesn’t allow for much precision when placing my florals (which at first was super frustrating) but once I stopped trying to control the placement of every petal and stem, the bracelets took on a more organic look - which I actually love! 🌼

Would love to hear your thoughts and if this is something I should make a regular style at markets/events! 💕

When my mom passed in November, we received so many beautiful flower arrangements from family and friends near and far. My husband Eric pressed and preserved the blooms after a few days before any of the petals began to wilt and this piece was completed on her birthday, February 16th. It’s very special to me, as I know anything that I create from these flowers will be and I look forward to creating more pieces with her flowers in the near future.

Creating art has been such a healing outlet for me, and it was something she loved being present for - always my biggest fan. Even through the grief of her loss, I still find peace in this work which I wasn’t sure would be possible at first. I imagine she’s with me while I work and am inspired to create things I know she would have loved.

Creating memorial pieces is such an honor, especially now. Grief has a way of connecting all of us and if this season of life has felt heavy, I see you and send you love. ❤️🕊️
