👋 Have you met Joey yet?! 👋 Joey Pocreva is one of our fantastic Medical Assistants at McClendon Medical Clinic. His hometown is yours truly — Ocean Springs, and he is proud to still call OS his home!

Joey is a SUPER busy guy! Did you know he is actually an industrial engineer?!! FUN FACT: He worked as an engineer for a couple of years before deciding to pursue medical school to become a doctor. WOW!! He is currently working with Dr. David McClendon to get the clinical experience he needs, all while working through his medical studies.

Favorite part of his job? He says he, “loves giving shots and connecting with patients!”

Joey is also a long-time sailor and competitive swimmer. He continues to race when he can find the time around work and classes. Kudos, Joey, on all of your exciting efforts and endeavors! We are so happy you are on and know you will do BIG things!! 🩺💙🩶

We are so pleased for you to meet Ms. Jasmine Corley, one of our FAB Medical Assistants! Jasmine is an native originally from Moss Point. She now resides in Pascagoula with her darling 3 girls ~ age 6 TWINS and her 1-year-old ~ we can safely say she is BUSY!!! 💓💓💓

Jasmine has an Associate of Arts degree; she is also a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, as well as a Certified Phlebotomist.

FAVE part of her job?! She loves meeting elderly people with a sense of humor, admitting shots, and just in general being around her fun & loving co-workers.

Jasmine used to be ALL IN on sports — playing basketball & volleyball, running track, but when she became a Mom, her focus changed. Her hobbies ARE her kids, OH and she loves shopping too. 😉

BIG shoutout to our Amber girl who’s just been promoted to Aledade Care Coordinator! 🤩

Aledade, Inc. is a Medicare Accountable Care Organization that assists us in managing hospital follow ups and annual wellness visits/preventatives. ACO also helps us resolve barriers to medications not filled at a pharmacy, as well as identify when goals are not met in patients with chronic health problems.

Access to this program and Amber’s direct contact with Aledade is a HUGE ➕ for our McClendon patients!
