The 13th Annual Mississippi Songwriters’ Festival will once again take place in Ocean Springs & Gautier September 15 - 18, 2022. We will have several performances going on simultaneously, throughout the downtown area with people being able to walk from one venue to the next.

Join us for the Meridian Chapter of the Mississippi Writers Guild (MWG) and the MSA Pines Region Songwriters meeting on September 28 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The MAX - The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience!
This gathering will combine writing discussions with hands-on writing through prompts. Whether you're new to writing or a seasoned pro, there will be lots of fun, lots of writing, and lots of sharing!

2024 Mississippi Songwriters Festival wraps after 130 performances The final performances of the 2024 Mississippi Songwriters Festival wrapped up the 15th annual event Sunday.
Ambassador Program suggestion from Buck Allen. In my local community Hurley Mississippi I’m hosting lighting of the Christmas tree in Dec. Most communities have such an event. communities are typically looking for entertainment, these type of events are a good way to get involved in your commune, get your foot in the door and assist MSA with community outreach. Founded in 2010 the Mississippi Songwriters festival has become one of the most beloved festivals in the country. The Mississippi Songwriters Alliance has developed education programs in schools, Veterans organizations and community along the gulf coast. The Mississippi Songwriters support, organize, and perform at events through out our communities and are music ambassadors all over the country. This is one of the most inclusive festivals and we seek to have participants from all types of music geographic areas.
