Had so much fun yesterday afternoon going to the different harbors and getting shots of these guys.

Got a chance to stop and take a picture of some very beautiful birds. These Snowy Egrets are stunning creatures and I got the joy of seeing their new babies!

I had an absolute blast taking pictures of these beautiful birds! They are so much fun to photograph and make amazing subjects!

I have no idea what kind of bird this is, but it sure is pretty! I laughed so hard when I heard their call! I wasn’t expecting what I heard that’s for sure.

What would a world be without flowers? Their beauty is unrivaled. God’s perfect handy work is evident in every flower I see.

There is something so wonderful about the quiet moments at sunrise. Watching the world wake up is something that is truly magical. Getting to watch the Lord paint his picture is something that will always keep me in awe of his mighty work.

Going back and looking at some pictures that I took in December. I love seeing the progression in my photography, but also am proud of these as well.

Spent some time in downtown Ocean Springs last night taking pictures. I love how amazing they turned out! Thank you Mark for inviting me to join you!

I just love azaleas and this one is from our bush. They are such beautiful flowers and I truly enjoy seeing them bloom this time of year.

Sunrise the Wednesday morning was stunning. I so enjoyed getting some amazing shots of the blue herons and seagulls. It was like a tiny slice of heaven in that moment for me.

I had fun tonight taking pictures of the full moon. It was so nice and peaceful outside; I could have stayed out all night.

I’m sure y’all are wondering what’s going on with the name change. After much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to change my name as part of my revamp.

I quit photography for a while after having a great beginning to my business. Life got crazy and I’m not sure if it was I didn’t have time for this or just didn’t want to put in the effort. Either way, I stopped doing something I really love.

Since restarting my business, I feel like a revamp is needed. Southern Bell Photography got me started but I feel that it’s time to retire that name. That and the fact that there are like 50 million other photography businesses called Southern Bell Photography.

Simply Sara’s Photography is just that, simply me. Simply me doing something I truly love. Simply me reigniting my passion for photography. Simply me just being me. Simply me with my camera doing my best to capture beauty in this world.

My hope for this revamp is to not only get my business off the ground but to also remind myself why I picked up a camera in the first place.

This business means the world to me and I hope that I’m able to use my passion to capture the magic and joy of you and your families. Be on the look out in the next day or so for a post. You’ll know it when you see it.

I hope I get to share my passion with y’all for a long, long time. Thank you all for supporting me; I love y’all more than y’all know.

I had the joy of taking photos for this precious couple today. My beautiful Cousin Morgan and her sweet boyfriend Ashton let me drag them all over Ocean Springs today. Thank y’all for putting up with me today! Y’all are so wonderful!

As we draw closer to Christmas, let us remember that it’s not about the gifts, although they are nice, but it’s about the time that we spend on, and with the people we love. It’s about the love that we feel when we are surrounded by friends and family. It’s most importantly about the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. It’s about honoring his birth, it’s about his sacrifice, and it’s about his love for us. Don’t let the crazy hustle and bustle of this season blind you from the true meaning of Christmas.

Had fun this evening taking pictures of the moon. It sure was pretty shining through the fog tonight.
