Personally, years ago when I bought my first 2 homes (early 2000’s) before the big builders moved into our area, I WAS NOT A FAN 🫣🫣
I looked for homes with divisions, walls, dedicated rooms.

Fast forward to even 12-15 years and open concept is the norm.
It took some getting used to in my current home but it does allow for more family time…. Downside, visible DISHES 😝😅😒
