I haven't posted but we are still going strong! I have got married so I'm not running this all alone now. We have had many losses over the last 12 months, gone through many struggles, saved so many and ended up with recently a new 3 legged kitty. If you are interested in any young ADULT kitties to join your home, we have plenty in stock in various locations around town we care for.
***UPDATE*** She will spend her life with us, she will not be adopted out or set foot on the streets again. ❤️
Meet Arby (RB). I've watched her grow up in a feeding spot of mine, a couple nights ago she was seriously attacked by a new cat in the apartment complex apparently. Severe bite wounds and bone in leg sticking out. With the help of West Texas Emergency Veterinary Clinic and a very kind hearted man that loves her too and cares also for the kitties I do in those apartments, and $1,200 later, she's now our 3 legged kitty in recovery.
She is NOT spayed or any shots yet, she is 6 months old and will be recovering for 30 days for sure at home. She will never go outside again the rest of her life. Her days as a stray are long gone now.
After recovery, she will be up for adoption POSSIBLY, although I've always had a bond with her and now with this I haven't decided if I'm personally keeping.
She has done nothing but purr and make biscuits even when she had bone sticking out. The ultimate sweetheart ❤️ Pictures in cage is when I got her into the ER Vet, she was going to sleep purring. The other photos AND VIDEO IN COMMENTS, are after she was brought home.
*****UPDATES, PHOTOS, VIDEOS, AND INFORMATION COMING SOON, GOT THE BALL ROLLING NOW!!!*****
Little Bug, roughly 5 months old, will be up for adoption soon, she is with Dhalia in that feeding spot of mine. Finally starting to get friendly ❤ More photos in comments.
***NOW UP FOR ADOPTION***
Once home is found, she will be pulled from the street, spayed, vaccinated, and if requested microchip. $50 rehoming fee, the rehoming fee will help to ensure a loving home with someone who truly thinks she would be a good fit, and the fee will go back into food for the other strays just like her.
Dhalia, I estimate before seeing vet that she's 3-5 years old and at some point an indoor kitty, will be up for adoption soon as she gets fixed and vetted. Super friendly, doesn't take her long to warm up to new people.
**UPDATE, I MYSELF ADOPTED HIM**
I named him Ozzy and he is a very happy, feisty neutered boy that gets lots of love. Soon to have a new playmate I think.
Newest addition from west side HEB. They reached out. First kitten I've fostered, this I will admit is new. It's a never ending learning experience in rescue, this baby at least will be safe, calm, quiet, fed, and out of the hot weather.
**UPDATE**
He is still a happy boy that jumps in car when I feed at their spot. He was depressed inside and this was only time I knew he was happier outside where he was than indoors. He jumps in car for a hug every night though! Only missed 2 nights of him being there.
SPONSORED! - ODESSA
David Bowie (black and white below in videos) will be available for adoption next week after fixed and vaccinated!
Plenty others like him need loving homes, we need more people like the kind lady that sponsored him entirely. The rescue can't help without help. In need of sponsors, fosters, food, and other general pet supplies are needed for cats mostly and dogs.
NOT A 501C REGISTERED NONPROFIT YET, SO I CANNOT ASK FOR MONETARY DONATIONS. Sadly it takes profit to be a NON profit, so it's postponed with family and personal issues.
Still in need of food donations. Right now dog food, no special kind, is needed most. Not for us, but someone in need. They will take any, not being picky. I personally just can't do a lot waiting to get back to work after leaving mine.
Hank Williams, after set backs and an escape from foster during iced over city, was finally taken to Petco, and only a couple days later adopted. He truly made an impact on me. He was my buddy, I hope to cross his path again. Happy trails! A life on the streets to life in the sheets.
***EDIT*** The kitten is adoptable now as well that was hollering with Hank Williams. Kitten is the one with tail up and white belly. I pet him/her finally last night and their sibling both for the first time. Sibling was actually friendlier and enjoyed it seemed like (all gray). Unsure genders on them as I only see glimpses of light and never at right times since I feed all at night time to avoid unwanted attention to kitties, one super friendly Hank, being there. They don't like the sudden bright light of mine from phone.
Hank Williams is still up for adoption. No foster so still gets care in one of my feeding spots for his. Male unaltered and not vaccinated. Seems friendly with all kitties around when he just popped up at another feeding spot of mine. He LOVES people and everyone loves him. Jumps in my car and wants to come inside my door at work.
New adoption pictures soon tonight or tomorrow. Videos as well of some up for adoption. They remain on streets with no fosters though for now sadly...
WILL MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE FIXED. For female spayed and vaccinated it will be a $75 rehoming fee. For male neutered and vaccinated there will be a $40 rehoming fee. The rehoming fees are not to profit whatsoever, its always to cover some of the cost of vetting toward the next ones. It also ensures someone is more serious about having a pet kitty and not for other reasons or some temporary to just throw back outside.
One roughly 2-4 year old calico female unaltered.
One roughly 1-2 year old orange and white male unaltered.
One 3 year old black and white FIV+ ONE CAT ONLY home. I have had him vetted prior for other issues and have all paperwork still with rabies tags up to date. You will be educated on FIV+ cats. He is friendly with people, but not most other kitties. He is a scrapper but loves people and has been inside apartments where he stays at outside. Again, he is unaltered yet.
All are very friendly, the calico hisses at other cats then keeps on her way. Never swipes. Social with people and cats in a colony. The orange and white is all sweet, social and friendly with people, cats and kittens and backs away from a potential fight I have saw myself.
Meowdy! Meet Hank Williams. This is one of my new additions to the strays. After 2 weeks now, he needs a home. I will require home check and signed agreement that he WILL be vaccinated and neutered on the next traveling clinic on the 20th I will set up. It will be covered ahead of time. Contact me via this post if interested in fostering or adopting.
***UPDATE***
She was walking when I was ready to catch. So she's all good now, just really scared me!
***********************************************
Possible trapping tonight for one of my accident prone strays at a feeding spot I have, one of many. They say you shouldn't have favorites, but shes dang near close. She never grew to full size and a bit ditzy, I call her Sq**rt. She's sweet and adorable. I will post a photo in this comment thread or edit the post to add in tonight a nice photo of her. This was the last video I took showing her injured. Ran into the lady in charge of Humane Society here in Odessa up there one night at this feeding spot. Her and I are both after catching and gaining trust of a pittie that's been hanging around. Not mean to kitties just wants their food so I let her be. Anyway, we got to talking and she said she could help me with Sq**rt instead of having to wait until 20th for possible broken foot when I had to give it a week almost two so I could see if she just was clumsy again or something serious needing medical attention. Shes not fixed so I have to do it all in one go.
Slowly getting back going again. If you have ferals/strays that need to be fixed, please contact me so I can get you in touch with some amazing people who help find homes and barns for and fix/release kitties.
PLEASE spay and neuter your pets and strays!

This page is one of the first steps to making my dream a reality. I have gone around Odessa, TX for 9 years every single night, missing one night in all that time feeding kitties from one side of town to the other, so I do tend to sway toward being a cat person
