Attatched (Image 1) is my company statement regarding a contractor termination from yesterday. I normally ignore this sort of stuff, but with the claims that were made, I felt a response was necessary. The contractors claims are attached as well. (Images 2&3)

Sometimes as a company owner, I am forced to terminate officers. This is never something I enjoy or take pride in doing, no matter the circumstances, even when just. I see this as a failure, not just on the terminated officers part, but a failure on my part as well, for not being able to council and correct the officers short comings. There has to be a line and that line can only be crossed so many times. I do not expect any terminated officer to be happy about being dismissed, but to go online and spew absolutely nothing but falsehoods about my company is such a discredit to himself.

Four 12 hour shifts per week. 1/2 shift in guard office and 1/2 shift in patrol truck. We pay every other Monday Direct Deposit. This contract is in the Notrees area. Texas DPS has issued a BLUE ALERT for Orlando Montanez, 42 after he shot a Big Spring Police Officer this morning. The Officer was flown to Lubbock with serious injuries.

Guys…need your prayers right now! As y’all have probably heard about the accident today near Permian, Lucas’ teammate from his club team was the boy who was seriously injured in todays accident. They airlifted him to Lubbock, then had to airlift him to Dallas. Drs are saying he’ll probably lose his leg. As you can imagine, he’s taking it very hard. On top of this, they moved to the states from Brazil recently so the only support he has down here are his teammates and soccer family. This is very hard, especially for a 16 yr old . Please keep him in your prayers. I know from first hand experience that God still does miracles! Please pray that God’s will be done and that his peace and comfort surround this young man and his family. 🙏 🙏

School Year 2024/2025 Opening‼️‼️
We are looking for the right candidate to fill one position for the 2024/2025 school year. Accepting applications for a Commissioned School Resource Officer in Monahans. Must have Level 3 DPS Security License, minimum of 3 years verifiable experience, must be in good physical shape and able to pass an extensive background check & drug test. This is a 10 month (187 day) position, meaning you will have the summers off, along with all standard school holidays. Salary based on an hourly rate of $24-$27/hr, depending on experience. Salary will be spread out over 24 pay periods in order to collect checks during summer months off. Assigned patrol car, take home if you live local in Monahans, sick leave and personal days. Mandatory Overtime for sports events.
All uniforms, duty gear and equipment issued. Local to Monahans a plus.

This morning, we were reminded once again of the bravery and sacrifice our law enforcement officers make every day. A Corpus Christi Police Department officer was shot while in the line of duty, serving their community!

Statistics show that in America, one officer is shot every 22 hours, underscoring the ongoing War on Cops.

Please keep this hero in your thoughts and prayers as they fight for their life. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks our Texas Law Enforcement officers face each day to ensure our safety.

It is important to note that the Monahans Chamber of Commerce did not sponsor the event put on by the Way Out West Rodeo Productions. This was an outside group that has no affiliation to Monahans. Teresa Burnett has a spectacular record of always looking out for the best interest of the chamber and community, when deciding what events to sponsor. The chamber deciding not to sponsor this event proves just that. Please do not hold the chamber responsible for anything to do with this poorly managed event.

I want to take the opportunity to let everyone know why we shut the event at the Ward County Arena down early last night. Toward the end of the night there was an incident involving the co-owners of Way Out West Rodeo Productions. Following that incident we learned that they were not going to pay for security services $3040.00, the band or bull riders. With tensions high between the owners of the production company, we felt it best to end the event.
