Friday reminder:

Slow Lane Coffee is hiring a part time barista who likes to work with people and can multitask. Experience is great but not necessary.
The average workday will be 11:00-4:00 Monday thru Friday and two Saturdays a month.
Days and hours will vary from time to time. Starting pay is $12.00 an hour plus tips.

Farmers Market starts at 8:00 this morning. Stop in and grab a drink, stroll around and shop with your local producers.
When you’re done come back in for an affogato. What is an affogato? I’m so glad you asked. An affogato is a scoop of ice cream with a shot of espresso poured on top. A delicious treat!

A must see concert tonight and pulled pork sandwiches served by Kiwanis. We will be closed but our friends at Always Kaffeinated will be serving up drinks.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Don’t forget about The Talbot Brothers concert tonight. The Nebraska Cattlewomen will be serving up their tasty brisket and Second Chapter is serving drinks.
Then Saturday check out the Farmers Market and citywide garage sales. The kids will be excited to hear the city swimming pool is opening as well.
Sunday is Father’s Day and I see most restaurants are offering specials for Dad. Main Street Meats is a great place to find some nice steaks or pork chops for grilling.

Thursday night is Ladies Night Out and we’re planning Lemonade Flights! More info to come later.

It’s not for everyone definitely describes the “Brewdriver”. Orange juice topped with an espresso shot, it’s got an interesting flavor. I think the people who like matcha might like this drink.

It’s our 6th anniversary this week so we are serving affogatos for $4. This year we have coffee flavored ice cream with an espresso shot poured over top, finished with whip cream and sprinkles. Delicious!!

The blackberry lemonade was popular on Ladies Night so we thought we’d add it as a special.

How ironic that it’s National EMS week and our local crews are out working hard tonight making sure that everyone is safe after a tornado.
