Congratulations to my student Trey for getting a distinction on his Rockschool drum exam. You worked hard and smashed it!
Had a blast on vacation in NYC. I saw an awesome band in Brooklyn one night and they let me sit in.
Working on a paradiddle sequence that fits over 7/8. Getting comfortable with a sticking pattern is a great way to build a foundation to take to the drumset.
Here is a breakdown of the Swiss ruff clip from yesterday.

A massive congratulations to my student Tanner on getting a distinction in his drum exam.
A little clip from our shoot today. All 10 students did a fantastic job. Look at Ty totally Rock it! I’m so proud of them all. They enjoyed being on camera and loved the new drums.
When you want to play drums but the chihuahua says no.
This is a little recording test using the drums. The sounds are straight out of the drums and I haven’t added any effects.

Getting prepped to record which is so easy to do with this setup. This new kit is so responsive. I can’t wait to share some footage.

Well done to my student Marshall on passing his grade 5 drum exam.
Tonight was the 2nd time our new Monday night group drumming session happened. So lucky to have such awesome students. They did a fantastic job of a group arrangement of uptown funk. If we keep going like this, we’re gonna need a gig to showcase all of this talent!!
Congratulations to Liam and Marshall for passing their drum exams. You guys rocked!!!!
We had a great time doing bucket drumming at Horace Mann School. The kids had fun and did a fantastic job!
