New Winter Hours!

09/30/2022

Seasons of Life

As you all know, we take a lot of pride in producing awesome pasture-raised proteins. It is a labor of love. We are so grateful for all of your support!

Just as the seasons change through the year, so do the seasons of our life. This Fall time helps us reflect on our goals and intentions for next season. Life has recently become increasingly busy with our other businesses, community responsibilities, and family.

Because of this, we have made the difficult decision to NO LONGER SELL EGGS. We know that this is one of our most beloved products, and we’re just as sad as you to see them go. But we know that this decision will help us to continue to provide you with the BEST BEEF ON EARTH.

Keep an eye on your email for our Beef Pre-order that will begin in January!

Enjoy your Fall!

What’s your “grass-fed” beef eating this winter? Chances are they’re in confinement eating hay.

Through rotational grazing, we’re able to have enough grass to get us deep into the winter before we start supplementing with hay on the pasture. A cow naturally forages for food under the snow, and gets plenty to drink from the snow while they’re at it!

Why Forage?

Why Forage?

One of the truths we have come to understand is that nature gives us the best pattern to follow as we raise our animals. There are reasons why, for millennia, animals have been survived a certain way. We believe that although society may change the rules of food, nature will not. We seek to create the most ideal conditions, patterned after nature, where animals can thrive as they should.

Who Are We?

Noticing a lack of reliable grass-fed beef options in their local stores, the Skinner Family began raising beef in 2013. Our goal was to provide quality meat for our own family, but that quickly changed. Friends, neighbors, and acquaintances soon tasted the difference of true beef, raised the way cows should be. Our customers have always loved being able to come to the ranch at any time and see we have nothing to hide. "Grass-fed," "Organic," and even terms as simple as "Natural" are often times misleading and do not give the whole picture of how the animals were raised.
