Tap water at my family home in tastes horrible. Undrinkable. We started adding Miyabi bamboo charcoal that reduces chloramine and other particles. New York tap water is great. But its pipes aren’t. Recently, my neighborhood had brown water for 3 days. This roughly a 3-month supply of Miyabi - about 100 grams. They are hand cut from bamboo so sizes vary depending on where on the stalk it has been sourced. Bottom is thicker, so heavier. We recommend on average 3 pieces per liter for 4 weeks. However, some pieces will be larger so you only need 2 per liter.
