We are beyond thrilled to present "Mocs in the Closet", a short film entirely written and produced by our amazing Indigenous Voices Youth (IVY) Council!
These talented Native American students from OKCPS schools came together to promote cultural identity and share what it means to be young and Native in today's world. 🌍
✨Every step of this film—from concept to the final cut—was student-led, with guidance from Director Dijay Yarholar.
This project was supported by the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board’s Native Roots Grant. Their creativity, hard work, and pride shine through every scene!

‼️ CDIB vs Tribal ID ‼️
NASS always encourages our parents/guardians to ensure their child has a CDIB AND a Tribal ID. We've learned that many people are unaware of the difference between the two documents. NASS created this handy flyer to break down the differences and to help others learn more about documentation for Native Americans.
Please start the Tribal enrollment process for your child when they are young! The benefits will last a lifetime! ❤️
Chickasaw families RSVP and come ready to eat at the Back-to-school cookout! PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE! This will be on Friday, July 26th. 5PM to 8PM
