Bluemoon woodworking
Hello, the purpose of this page is to show projects that I am currently or have worked on all while interacting with my followers and potential customers.
Feel free to message me about questions or if you have an idea for a potential build. Thank you!
Having a CNC sure makes creating signs and other intricate work a breeze
It’s not always ice cream and children laughing and giggling in the background. Lots of time wasted all because I got in a hurry…in the process of flattening and removing the excess epoxy, I hit the -z instead oof the -y on the fast parameter and buried the bit right through the surface. Now, come up with something else to try and salvage most of the wood. Overall, a pretty expensive mistake.
First time with the freedom flag and I have to say it’s one of my favorites now.
Pinterest is the absolute worst for husbands. I wish there was a way that I would get an alert when my wife get on Pinterest and I could either accept or reject access. Another two projects knocked off the list.
I’m calling it “leave the day at the door” tray for the blue collar worker. Blue collar workers know about coming home from a dirty and nasty day where your clothes got wrecked. Me personally, consist of grease, oil base mud and dirt. Instead of dragging it through the house, I have to strip down and I never had a place to put everything. Not anymore! 2 cutouts with different depths, 4 hooks, and a magnet for a knife or pistol.
I’m working on something and I need some input from my blue collar workers. When you come home from a days work where you’re pretty nasty and have to strip in the garage/mud room/ outside before coming in the house, what all do you have on your person that needs to be removed( aside from your clothes)? Example: knife, belt, hat, glasses, pliers, keys, smokes, lighter, chewing can, etc.
Your input would be appreciated!
Cnc tool and parts drawer is finished. The mdf and paint didn’t cooperate in a couple of places but I’m just happy with the organization. No more little baggies with bolts, clamps, nuts and bits.
This thing is gonna be a game changer!
Haven’t posted in quite a few months but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy. Most have been generic but these are some of the designed orders.
It’s been a stop and go battle for about 5 months, but the white oak table is finally done. I appreciate chiropractic giving me the opportunity to build their conference room table.
Tried something new. Love the texture and depth of the grooves.
Hello everyone, now is the time to put in your Christmas orders. The deadline for guaranteed delivery before Christmas is November 19. Anything after that I can’t make promises. Feel free to share this post so other people don’t miss out! Thank you 🙏
Another order done and ready to deliver. Time to start on some tables now. One massive oak table and then a railroad car floor table. Busy busy busy
The supervisor showed up and decided to take a tool inventory.
It’s always a pleasure making gifts for people! Thank you Lionis Wilson over at Arrow Electric for the business. Hit them up for all your electrical needs. They did the electrical work in my garage/shop. Great people!
I tried something new on a couple of flags in the way I get the images to stand out on the flag. I normally outline the image, burn the wood inside and around the image, then finish carving so that the carved portions would pop more. I’m really happy with my experiment of staining the image. I takes a lot more time but I feel it adds a little class to the overall flag.
I started making flags in December of 2019 and I thought they were absolutely amazing…. Needless to say they were not much to write home about. I’m happy with the progress I’ve made!
Scrap wood has its uses
Furniture and little projects I’ve completed
A collection of the different styles of flags that I have completed for customers
One of my biggest problems with cutting wood for projects is forgetting that I’m burning an inch. Go to assemble and needless to say, I’m pretty short🤦♂️
The old standard flag design was needing something. Decided to add a beveled edge to the stripes and union. I love that little “extra” it gives to the overall look of the flag.
Had a few extra slats left over from a big build so I decided to make a flag that I’ve been wanting to do at the suggestion of a friend. This has to be one of my favorite color schemes! The American skull is amazing also!
I had really high hopes for this flag. I’ve come to realize that color blending is not my forte and is in desperate need of practice. Needless to say, I will be trying more of these.
Needless to say, it’s been a busy week. One order for 10 flags and 3 other randoms I had lying around waiting to have finish put on. I need a shop something bad! This 3 car garage isn’t big enough🤨
I can’t say enough of how much of an honor it was to meet everyone that came out to Silverleaf Shotgun Sports. It was truly an amazing experience!
Bolt Investment Group LLC ( Hunter Baldwin and Hoot Gibson) are a couple of great guys that are definitely making a difference. I hope to be able to work with them again in the future!
In the end. We were able to raise a lot of money, met some great people, shot some clays, and gained some valuable friends.
The bedlam flags are primed and ready for the charity shoot tomorrow. I hope they bring a lot of money for a great cause!
