It was great catching up with friends I haven't seen in a while.

It was also inspiring to see all the amazing films, Okie Films in particular. You all are crazy talented. Keep doing great things!

CASTING CALL: The Townsends
Non-Union Independent Short Film

Production Company: Faithful Five Films

Synopsis: A family overcomes dysfunction to survive the holidays.

KEY DATES:
Auditions: Saturday, January 21
Shooting Dates: January 27-29

Shooting Location: Yukon, Ok

Compensation: Stipend TBD

3 supporting roles need to be filled for the short film, “The Townsends” . Please see the character descriptions below and submit for suitable roles. Each character has dialogue.

Characters:
Honey [Female, 65-85, Caucasian]
Loving, sweet, but strong willed grandmother who always has the right words to say.

Mike [Male, 50-57, Caucasian]
Glen [Male, 45-49, Caucasian]
Husbands to two of the Townsend girls. They are avid hunters but maintain 9-5 corporate jobs as a past time.

Official Selections 2015 - Trail Dance Film Festival - January 2015 Trail Dance, an award winning festival produced by the Trail Dance Film Festival Association, is an open-genre independent film contest. Trail Dance provides an opportunity for filmmakers to present in a competitive and supportive environment.

Trail Dance will announce Official Selections on December 5. Fingers Crossed.

We will be discussing the all the dirty details of making a film in 48 hours, and all the exciting opportunities for the winning team.
