Happy Back to School Week!

Earlier this year, we completed a renovation and addition to the Casady School campus, adding 7,800 sq. ft. of new indoor and outdoor classroom spaces. As the school year begins, we’re excited to see these spaces come to life, nurturing the next generation of learners.

Last Friday, some of our team visited Stillwater to speak with students from the OSU College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology Summer Bridge Program about careers in architecture and engineering. We were impressed by their enthusiasm and insightful questions.

Mentoring the next generation of professionals is important to us, and it was an honor to contribute to their journey. We look forward to their future accomplishments!

Our partners started this holiday week on a high by hosting a cookout for ADG Blatt staff, complete with smoked meats and all the fixings! We loved bonding over great food and company before heading into the weekend to celebrate Independence Day with our loved ones. Happy Fourth from all of us! 🇺🇸

Summer is in full swing, and so is our internship program! We have so enjoyed the energy and collaboration we have seen from interns Alan, Avery, Emily and Hannah. While they have been doing plenty of design work in the office, we’ve also gotten to take them to project sites - visiting The University of Oklahoma First Year Housing, First National Center, and First Americans Museum to learn about every step of design and construction progress from start to finish.

Last Friday, the ADG Blatt team had a rewarding day of volunteering with our community partner, City Care. We rolled up our sleeves and got to work cleaning out their shed, making space for their essential supplies and equipment.

Afterwards, we had the privilege of touring The Night Shelter, a project we're proud to have designed for City Care. It's inspiring to see how this space is making a difference in the lives of those in need.

A huge thank you to City Care for the opportunity to give back and witness the impact of our collaboration firsthand. Together, we're building a stronger community!

Since 2009, MAPS 3 has invested $800 million to enhance the quality of life in our city. This initiative has brought us incredible amenities such as Scissortail Park the Oklahoma City Convention Center a white water course, the OKC Streetcar senior wellness centers, extensive trails, sidewalks, and significant upgrades at the fairgrounds. The results have been transformative for our community. As the Program Consultant for MAPS 3, ADG Blatt is thankful for our involvement over the last 14 years, from implementation to ribbon-cuttings. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who developed, passed, and implemented MAPS 3, especially the voters and taxpayers of OKC! Additionally, the leadership from the MAPS office, Mayor Mick Cornett Mayor David Holt and MAPS 3 Chairman Tom McDaniel has been unmatched, and our city is lucky to have them.

This past Saturday, we had an absolute blast teaming up with The Boldt Company for the American Institute of Architects - CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CHAPTER Kickball Tournament! 🏆⚽️ It was a day filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and lots of laughs.

We’re proud of our team’s efforts and thrilled to have had the opportunity to connect with our peers in the industry. Big thanks to the AIA for organizing such a fantastic event and to Boldt for being such awesome teammates!

We're thrilled to have had the opportunity to host two bright students from Santa Fe South High School at ADG Blatt! These future architects spent a day shadowing our team, gaining insights and inspiration for their potential careers in the architectural field. Congratulations on your recent graduation, and we can't wait to see the amazing things you'll achieve! 🎓

That’s a wrap on MAPS 3! All eight projects in the MAPS 3 program are officially complete, with today’s ribbon cutting at the South OKC Senior Wellness Center being the final one. We have been involved in the MAPS program since the beginning, and have been thankful to serve as the program consultant on MAPS for Kids, MAPS 3, and currently on MAPS 4. Three out of four MAPS programs are complete, and Oklahoma City is better for it. Congratulations to South OKC on your new Senior Wellness Center, and thank you to the City of Oklahoma City for your continued trust as we assist in these important programs.

It was our honor to assist Anishinabe Design on the College of The Muscogee Nation’s new STEM Building and Lecture Hall. Combining tradition with innovation, this space honors the past while paving the way for the future. 💫

Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the new Almonte Library with Metropolitan Library System this week! This state-of-the-art facility features over 20,000 square feet, including a Makerspace, podcasting studio, and a shaded outdoor area. Funded by the Better Streets, Safer City Bond Issue, the library is a hub for community engagement and lifelong learning!

We love giving back and volunteering is part of culture - the last month has given us a lot of opportunities! We got together to last weekend with Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and spent time helping artists with the Arts Council Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts.

Had the best time at the American Institute of Architects - CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CHAPTER golf tournament Monday seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

We can't believe it's been two years since the grand opening of our historic renovation project at First National Center! 🏢✨ This iconic building was transformed into a gorgeous hotel with restaurants and bars, and amenity-heavy residences. It's been deemed the jewel of OKC, and we have to agree!

Thank you to our team, partners, and the community for making this journey unforgettable. Here's to many more years of success and impact!

A fun way to spend a Saturday - at The STEAM Engine Career Showcase! We had a blast and hopefully inspired some future architects and engineers. ✨

We're proud to share that ADG Blatt was prominently featured at recent events! Our Director of Business Development, Jacquelyn Eagleson, delivered a speech at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art Corporate Sponsor event last week, and this week our Director of Program Management, Melanie Draper, was a panelist for SMPS Oklahoma Chapter's From Concept to Construction event. Kudos to these incredible women for representing our company with excellence in our community.

Through our work with MAPS 4, we have come to know the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County well and are impressed with their impact on the community. This years Annual Champions of Youth Gala was inspirational! We are grateful to play a part in building a better community for all Oklahoma City residents.
