OG&E volunteers assisted individuals as they grocery shopped at The Salvation Army Central Oklahoma Area Command's Client-Choice Food Pantry, which serves the public in Oklahoma and Cleveland counties. Clients can shop the pantry once every 30 days for free fresh produce, canned goods and healthy frozen items, providing meal supplementation while helping people maintain their independence and dignity. OG&E employees, their families and retirees teed up this weekend for the 89th annual OG&E golf tournament, raising $7,200 FORE United Way! We hope everyone had fun and appreciate all who made this event a success. ⛳ Way to go, !

Great job to OG&E's Safety team for spending the day volunteering at Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Together, they helped package 4,518 pounds of food which will feed more than 1,500 children through the food bank's Backpack Project.💚

School is back in session! OG&E employees across the company came together for a school supply drive to equip 13 school districts with essential materials. We wish everyone a wonderful and successful year! 📒✏️

As of 8 p.m., approximately 2,900 customers are without service, down from a peak of more than 20,000 customers. 85% of customers who experienced an outage following last night’s severe storms in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas have been restored.

Last night, severe storms including rain and damaging winds up to 70 mph moved through the eastern portion of OG&E’s service area causing downed power lines, broken power poles, and damage to cross arms and other equipment attached to poles. As of 11:45 a.m., approximately 9,100 customers are without service, down from a peak of more than 20,000 customers.

1,100 operations personnel are restoring service to homes and businesses that can accept power. Our crews have been and will continue to work around the clock until power is fully restored.

Sooner Power Plant employees helped the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) build 10 Shelbyville fish habitats for Sooner Lake. These structures will form reefs when multiple cubes are submerged together, providing a thriving environment for fish. Kudos to all involved for enhancing our natural ecosystems and promoting sustainable outdoor activities. Let's cast our lines and celebrate the positive impact of this collaboration! 🐟👏

Our vegetation management team not only delivers tree trimmings to the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden, but also volunteers their time to support its animals and energize conservation. These forestry experts enjoyed sprucing up flower beds and helping zoo staff during enrichment with the animals. 🧡🐘

It doesn't get much sweeter than a partnership between OG&E, Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma and Meals on Wheels Oklahoma City! We're excited to surprise seniors with a box of cookies with their meals and support future female leaders. 🍪
