📣Rattan Customers: You may have heard about worldwide outages caused by a Crowdstrike update last night. We aren’t using the product directly so your systems shouldn't be directly affected by what Rattan manages but some of the remote services you are using might be affected by this issue. Microsoft Teams, Exchange, and several other O365 services were affected overnight, and many of those issues were resolved when people in the Central time zone began their work days. There still may be some issues throughout the day today. Other services that your company uses may be affected by it. Websites may be affected by it or run slowly due to it. Unfortunately, all you can do is wait for their support teams to resolve the issue.

Let us know if you have any questions or need us to check on the status of a service that doesn’t seem to be working quite right.

Regarding Today's IT troubles, here's what we know:
Extreme Impact: BSOD boot loop for machines running Crowdstrike EDR that were turned on or in sleep mode when they pushed the faulty update out.

Less extreme impact: Even if your machine isn't stuck in a boot loop, machines between you and the service that are stuck will cause performance issues or no access to services.

Potential fixes: If you can get access to the file system there is a fix, and it's possible that they can set up a boot disk to fix it, but some companies are already getting set to re-image or replace affected machines.
