Yesterday was World Cancer Day— a day that gives us a chance to raise awareness of cancer, an illness that has impacted all of us one way or another. Every year, February 4th is dedicated to encouraging prevention, detection, and treatment for Cancer. It is a day also to unite all caregivers, experts, survivors, and advocates as we work on being a world full of support. 💜

Janet feels as though every woman deserves to feel beautiful throughout their battle with cancer, which is why she founded the Shair Foundation— a nonprofit mobile wig salon that provides the opportunity to help all women who need assistance with hair loss, regardless of financial means.

Meet Janet McLain- the driving force behind Cancierge. Janet has worn many hats (and wigs) in her life! Because of Janet’s personal odyssey with cancer, she is passionate about guiding others through their journey. Janet has spent time in pharmaceutical sales, the fashion industry, as an owner of her own catering company and publisher of her cookbook titled To Serve, owner of Cancierge, and a devoted mother of two sons.

Janet has developed many insights she desires to share with others living through cancer. With her genuine warmth, heartfelt compassion, and her smiling demeanor, Janet instills positivity and hope!

Janet started Cancierge in 2014 and has worked hard since then to help women thrive throughout their cancer journey.
