You know we love hot dogs but we can have more than one favorite dog! This International Dog Day we are celebrating our sweet girl Mama! Our office wouldn't be the same without her. We love you Mama! Show us a picture of your furry friend in the comments 🐶

Today we want to introduce you to Tom Jackson and Lamere Joseph, the two men in charge of smoking Schwab meats to perfection! Tom (TJ) and Lamere have been with the Schwab family for over 70 years combined and have smoked tens of millions of pounds of meat. Let's learn some more about them!

TJ started with Schwab in 1972 as a bacon hanger and a sausage grinder and by the 80s he had taken over the curing process. In 1992, he was promoted to chief sausage maker. He was officially made a smoke master in 2005 and has been loving it ever since!

Lamere started with Schwab in 1988 as a ham sacker during the holiday season. Starting in 1989 he worked on Schwab's famous chili and became lead chili cook in 1992. Starting in 1995, Lamere worked as our curing master until 1997 when he was promoted to smoke master!

We are so lucky to have these two amazing gentlemen as a part of our team and we look forward to many more years with them!
