Honoring America’s Warriors has provided and trained first class service dogs for disabled veterans and/or service members since 2015.

But did you know our original mission was and continues to be augmenting or providing military honors for veterans and their families? Believe it or not some veterans may not receive funeral honors due to families not knowing where to find or being able to provide discharge papers to the burial provider in short order. If we can verify other than dishonorable discharge through some tidbit of service information we can provide honors. Many times families request three volleys or live Taps, but that’s not always available. All branches do an excellent service providing honors with the resources they have. Our job is to assist and fill gaps the best we can to honor our heroes and comfort their families. Offsite work today around horses and cattle, they did great!

Lexi and Polly are a little over 20 months old and have been training since 8 weeks. They’ll be training for 4 more months to become service dogs. Lexi and Polly and their veterans live on base when on duty at the fire department. The sirens, engines, task work and excitement don’t bother them one bit.

Our trainers and handler teams work out at BarK once a week. Definitely worth a vote.

BARK, located in the OKC RiverSport area, has over two acres of space for dogs to play, includes a splash pad, restaurant and bar too. BARK graciously allows Honoring America's Warriors Service Dog program to use the facility once a week for training. If you get a chance, go check it out.

Delta has completed her first year as an Honoring America’s Warriors certified service dog. She started her journey with us when she was eight weeks, trained for two years and now she’s 3 years old. She’s a marvel.

Several Organizations Team Up To Raise Money For Veteran Service Dogs At 'Mutt Gala' Several local organizations are teaming up to hold the first ever 'Mutt Gala,' hoping to raise money to provide service dogs to veterans.
