Christ Community Health Coalition
Christ Community Health Coalition is a South OKC-based non-profit dedicated to spreading the gospel through meeting the health needs of its community.
Christ Community Health Coalition exists to share the healing love of Jesus with our community by promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
Giving Season is here and we need your help to continue sharing the healing love of Jesus with our community! Your gift of any amount will get us closer to seeing every person in southwest Oklahoma City have access to high quality nutrition, health education, medical care, and spiritual support that is centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Meta has made it easy to contribute through Facebook with matching donations! To celebrate the season of giving, Meta will match donations up to $100 for new recurring donors who make 2 consecutive monthly payments of $5 or more to an eligible nonprofit. The match starts November 15 and continues until December 31, or until the $7 million match fund is spent. Meta will notify donors when their recurring donation has been matched, after the second monthly payment.
Contributions can also be made outside of Meta/Facebook. Cash and checks can made out to Christ Community Health Coalition, CCHC, or Hilltop Clinic and mailed to:
101 SW 25th St
Oklahoma City, OK 73109

"Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus."
– Romans 6:8-11

We will be sharing some of our favorite health tips for your child throughout the day. Be sure to follow Hilltop Clinic so you never miss a post!

Health Tip #5: Limit Screen Time! We recommend kids, depending on their age, not be in front of screens for more than 1-2 hours a day.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has developed an interactive tool your family can use to create a Family Media Use Plan. The tool includes a Media Time Calculator that can give you a snapshot of how much time each child is spending on daily activities, such as sleeping, eating, homework, physical activity, and media use. It also includes AAP recommendations on screen-free zones, media manners, and much more.

Health Tip #3: Be Physically Active! We recommend regular physical activity to help keep kids healthy! Exercise is vital to the physical and mental health and well-being of children because it:
🏃 helps build and maintains healthy bones, muscles, and joints, for example
🏊 helps keep a healthy body mass index and reduces the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease later in life
⛹️ can help children fall asleep quickly and sleep well
🤸♀️ increases enthusiasm and optimism
🏋️♀️ boosts self-esteem, school performance, attention and behavior
🧗♀️ reduces anxiety, tension and depression
🏌️ fosters teamwork and friendship when it's part of an organized sport

Child health tip Number 2: !
We encourage that the main thing children drink every day be water. Water is the best choice because it:
💧Is super healthy! Water has zero calories and no added sugar.
💧Is good for the body! Water keeps joints healthy, is good for your teeth, and helps blood circulate.
💧Is good for the mind! Staying hydrated helps concentration and focus.
