We specialize in boarding, doggy daycamp, and grooming. We offer a fully customizable boarding stay for dogs, cats and other pets - with either individualized or group play. We also offer doggy day camp every day, with full and half-day packages available. We interview every dog, before they start Doggy Day Camp, and our Camp is staffed 100% of the time with our Certified Camp Counselors. We also

Our Story

Memorial Crossing Pet Resort owners Larry Nieman, DVM, and his wife Joan have over 75 years of combined experience in the pet care industry. They continue to dedicate their lives to serving pets and the people who love them.

For over 25 years, Larry owned and practiced at three veterinary hospitals in Edmond, OK. In 1983 Joan and Larry built Memorial Crossing Pet Resort. Joan operated the business for 12 years before joining Best Friends Pet Care, Inc. (the very first chain of pet hotels in the US). Joan was instrumental in developing Best Friends’ care standards, and in 2005 she joined the executive team as vice president of operations. During her tenure there, she oversaw 48 facilities in 18 states and was part of the team that built the now famous Best Friends Walt Disney World Resort.

In 2019 Joan and Larry seized the opportunity to once again own and operate the pet boarding, day camp, grooming and training business under the original name, Memorial Crossing Pet Resort.

We offer a fully customizable boarding stay for dogs, cats and other pets - with either individualized or group play. We also offer doggy day camp every day, with full and half-day packages available. Our Camp is staffed 100% of the time with trained camp counselors. We also offer grooming services - you can make an appointment anytime, or reserve one as part of your pet's stay with us.
