I’ve heard that I approach alterations differently than most. I come from a design aspect so I do the job with the original construction/design in mind. I always say that you’re wearing the garment, but I’m always available to offer styling suggestions!

We restyled Pooja’s dress by changing the hem, fitting the bodice, changing the neckline, and creating a new sleeve piece thing (I need to look up a term for this 🤦🏼‍♀️) AND made a matching TIE for Rajiv. 🧵🪡✨

We turned a dress/jacket into a set/jacket combo and Dani now had so many possibilities! Updated the fit and changed the functionality (elastic waist skirt, side zipper top).🧵🪡✨

Okay, I might just have to copy Emily’s vision for this dress she got on ! We closed the back slit and made a front slit, made one shoulder, slimmed the bodice to fit, and hemmed. Updated and so cute! 🧵🪡✨ ps, get ready for another restyle for Emily, we just all have to wait a year to see it. 😂😭
