We built the identity with the finer things in mind. The typography evokes the time period when Perle reigned over the Skirvin, while Chef Black’s rare ingredients inspired the color palette and art. A hand-lettered monogram serves as the brand’s personal touch, and subtle jewel shapes nod to Perle’s love of fine jewelry.

Ludivine was my first restaurant client—at the beginning of my design career, Russ Johnson and Jonathon Stranger took a chance on me, and I worked for both on various endeavors throughout the last 10 years. But Ludivine was where it started, and really, what a pivotal moment. I did not design the legendary bird logo, but I faithfully stewarded their brand through sub-brand iterations, website, art direction and advertisements. Ludivine certainly set the stage for the types of projects I’d be drawn to as Cooper House grew. They ignited a movement in Midtown OKC, and in my career. And thanks to for mentioning my name in rooms where opportunities arise. I will always be grateful for the opportunity—as I am with all our hospitality clients, near and far. Here’s to Ludivine.

We’re really proud to announce a prominent brand restoration project—the Skirvin Hilton Hotel. It’s a crowning jewel for OKC, and we’re honored to dig into the history and play a role in restoring it to its heyday.
We’re knee-deep in the strategy right now, and suffice it to say there are plenty of stories to tell about this building and its history. We’ve never been so proud to have a team full of creatives ready to tackle this project and many others.
