Our very own Faith Hill has been named a winner of the State Superintendent's Award for Arts Excellence in Piano! This award is given to the top students in OK who have achieved artistic and academic excellence, as well as leadership in their community and school.

Norfar teaches Algebra II, pre-calculus, and calculus at NWC and is a favorite with fellow staff and her students. “Every kid deserves a champion, a person who will never give up on them and never let them down," Norfar says.

NWC Students and Parents,

On Monday, November 8, students will work on school assignments from home. All students need to login into Infinite Campus before 4:00 pm to keep from being counted absent.

Of those students who are counted present for November 8, sixteen will be randomly selected (4 from each grade level) to receive lunch from Chick Fil A on Friday, November 12.

I attended high school at Cache, Oklahoma. I then went to USAO in Chickasha and received my bachelors degree in history, along with a minor in liberal arts. I enjoy reading and watching sports. I am excited and very eager to get the 2021-2022 school year underway! Let’s set the GOLD STANDARD!

Hello! I'm so excited to be teaching at NWC this year. Some of you may recognize me, as I substituted here many times this past spring. I will be teaching English 2, which is world literature. I love that I'm doing world lit, because I have lived in 3 other countries and have traveled to many more. Traveling & learning about other countries and people is one of my most favorite things to do.
I have a Master's degree in English from Middlebury College and a Bachelor's in English Education from the University of Tulsa. I taught for 11 years in the US- both at the high school and community college level, and I taught for 3& 1/2 years in South Korea at Sunkyunkwan University. I also have an Associates in Applied Sciences from OSU-OKC in Crime Victim Survivor Services. I worked with survivors of all kinds of interpersonal violence in different capacities for 11 years. Now I'm back to teaching and I'm so glad! I look forward to being a part of the NWC family.

Angela Herrera was last seen around 10:45 outside the Skyline Event Center in Bricktown where she attended the prom. She is in a wheelchair and was wearing red dress.
