Please help us welcome Billy Keohane to the Trichology family!
Billy is a haircutting specialist and began his career by going to school and working for Vidal Sassoon in Atlanta GA, where he found his passion for haircutting education. After 8 years in Atlanta, he would realize his entrepreneurial spirit by opening his own salon with an academy offering advanced education.
Billy has worked at the Aveda Institute in New York as Haircutting Director.
The call to education grew louder and he was recruited to join the new vision for the Aveda Institute as Haircutting Director.
His method for the treatment of hair gained attention from one of New York’s most prestigious curly salons and was approached with the opportunity of Director of Educstion to which he would accept and develop his In The Curl curriculum.
Billy splits his residence at Trichology while still serving as Director of Education in New York and as guest artist for Aveda.
His passion for customer service is clear from the first consultation to the closing service. Join Billy in the salon for an incredible experience in design and suitability.

It’s BIG NEWS TIME! We have a few new faces coming to our shop over the next few weeks that we’re so excited to reveal and the first one is Kristina!💫💫
For Kristina, the hair industry has been calling her name since she was a kid! She would take her Barbie dolls and take them to her “salon” where she would cut their hair with kitchen scissors and color the hair with markers.
Since that time she has refined those techniques to shall we say, more modern approaches with desired outcomes🤣
Kristina’s kind and outgoing personality has made her a incredible addition to our team and we’re excited for you to meet her! She finds the most satisfaction in making you love your hair and growing meaningful relationships with her guests! She loves to do highlights with many approaches, and fashion colors!

If you would have told us 15 years ago when we opened about all the incredible employees, clients/guests, experienced and opportunities I jaws would have dropped! It is truly why we do and have done what it is that we do.
For the opportunity to serve in this large community that we are part of for 15 years with every employee that we have done it with makes us feel more gratitude that we can express through words. ♥️

To know Kwang is to love him. For those who do not know Kwang is battling some very serious health conditions.
Kwang is a father, family to many, friend to everyone he’s encountered and he has spent his career helping others to grow and establish wonderful careers in the hair industry. He is as beautiful of a soul as it gets and is a absolute legend in our community because he’s been touching lives for so many years by being an educator.
Now it’s our turn to help Kwang. Kwang will be traveling back to South Korea for healthcare opportunities and it is uncertain when he will return and be able to return to work. There are many unknowns at this time. Anything you can do is greatly appreciated. ♥️
Aside from donating the other thing you can do to help is to share this. As mentioned, Kwang has touched the lives of so many and we’re sure there will be many who will help if they become aware of this so sharing this to everyone you know and especially those from the hair industry will greatly help.

Support. A beautiful word and one we hold on to tightly.
When we think or talk about a wonderful culture at Trichology perhaps the biggest word that helped us to facilitate that in recent time is support.
For us that means every member of our team feels supported in each of their own unique set of dreams, goals and simply said, next steps in life.✨ Sometimes that can look like huge steps and sometimes it perfecting a hair color/cutting technique on a mannequin head. It’s those small steps that lead to big ones after all.🫶🏽💛
We all go through our seasons of life and it’s important to allow space for that as well.
We feel sure that in order for everyone to have such an amazing support system everyone must also support and encourage one another and what we have found is when you highlight that as your value and intention it really helps to make clear the type of actions and behavior that we support and the ones we don’t hold so dear.

Hello, I am Tate Schones and I was born in a small town in western Oklahoma. I moved to OKC after I graduating high school to pursue my goal of being a great hairstylist. I attended The Hair Arts Institute where I was trained in Vidal Sassoon techniques. My goal is to make every client that sits in my chair feel confident by creating the look they desire. I host a large range of looks from tousled and lived in to precision work as well as highlights and bayalage. I love traveling, spending time with family, and music. I’m excited to start this new chapter at Trichology where I will be able to grow and expand my talents and meet awesome new clients. See you soon!
