Happy National Bike 🚲to Work Week! Thinking of biking to work today? Here are the top 6 tips for bicyclists:
1) Always assume that a driver can’t see you unless the driver makes eye contact.
2) Ride as close to the right-hand curb as possible, but don’t be afraid to take the lane when necessary.
3) Obey all traffic control devices and signs.
4) Signal your intent to turn, slow or stop using hand signals.
5) Always wear a helmet and look for approved helmets that have a SNELL, ASTM or SEI sticker.
6) If riding at night, equip your bike with a headlamp, a rear red reflector, and wear reflective gear. BE BRIGHT AT NIGHT!
Your safety should always be the number one priority! Follow us for more safe practices and share with friends.
