According to a study published in “Frontiers in Nutrition,” adults who eat a high-sugar diet may experience a higher prevalence of kidney stones. It’s a good reminder to watch out for excess sugar in your diet, but as always, be sure to talk with your healthcare professional about what’s right for you.
This week, we’re wishing Meghan a happy 10th anniversary with 180 Medical! One way we love to honor our employees is by making a donation in their honor to the charitable organization of their choice. Meghan chose Hair We Share.
She says, “As someone who has struggled with alopecia for almost 30 years, I know personally how much of a toll this autoimmune disease can have on your mental health. I also know how expensive a good wig can be, and all too often, wigs aren’t covered by insurance. Hair We Share is an organization helping provide human hair wigs at no cost to adults and children in order to help boost the self-esteem and confidence of people struggling with hair loss due to a medical condition.”

The TIRR Texans of Houston achieved a perfect 4-0 record and won the tournament championship.
WWAR (Florida) finished in second place, followed by the Northridge Knights (California) in third, and the defending National Champions, Grand Rapids (Michigan), in fourth.

Join us in celebrating Morgan's 10th anniversary with 180 Medical! In honor of Morgan, we're making a donation to her charity of choice, Camp Sweeney.
Morgan shares, "Camp Sweeney is a summer camp for children and teens with Type 1 Diabetes. I was diagnosed with Type 1 when I was 10, which was shocking and changed my life in an instant. I spent seven summers at Camp Sweeney, where I learned that I could live with this disease and do everything that I could ever hope to do. Spending three weeks every summer surrounded by people who dealt with the same problems I had to deal with gave me the strength and courage I needed to tackle life head-on.
Although I don't use catheters or ostomy supplies, I understand medical needs' impact on people and families. I encourage everyone to reach out for support, regardless of how nervous or embarrassed you might be. You aren't alone, and knowing that can make a difference."
Thank you, Morgan, for making a difference and demonstrating the 180 Way every day!
Our customers' well-being is our top priority, and we are humbled by this heartfelt review. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey and for trusting us, especially through challenging times. www.180medical.com/reviews

Kendon says, “I really like their mission and how they help treat kids facing some of the hardest challenges. Happy 10th anniversary with 180 Medical to Chris! One way we love to celebrate our employees’ big milestones is by donating to the charitable organizations of their choice. Chris chose the Children’s Hemiplegia and Stroke Association (CHASA).
He shares, “CHASA is very near and dear to my family’s heart as our son Felix suffered a stroke at 17 months of age, leaving him temporarily paralyzed on the left side of his body. We were able to connect with this organization to learn information on what a stroke is, how we can help our son adjust to his rehabilitation, and how we can move forward with him and our family into this new stage of life and recovery. CHASA also allowed us to connect with a community of other parents to talk through our struggles, hardships, success stories, and resources, and ultimately bond together over our shared connection. Thankfully, Felix has made a full recovery, but it’s important to us to continue to support and spread awareness that strokes can impact the lives of kids, too.”
