My friends and patients also know that family is incredibly important to me. Many of my patients had to navigate the arrival of our latest addition last month. They were incredibly gracious about this and we made the schedule work so that they got the care they needed and I got to be with my family when I needed. Many of my patients were so kind and even brought gifts for the baby to help us to welcome her!

Today, I got this awesome gift (in addition to a gift for the baby!) from a very kind patient who’s surgery was moved to navigate the baby’s arrival. These gestures are always very touching and reinforce the true reason we become doctors: our relationships with our patients!

Family comes first. Always. And I’m grateful to have patients, colleagues, and staff who get that.

Another great year at the Atlanta Breast Symposium! This has been an annual tradition since and I graduated from together. It’s always a fun weekend filled with amazing lectures and live surgery from the best and brightest in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. It’s also a great opportunity to see old friends from around the country. We are already looking forward to the meeting next year!
