Not sure if this is Sia’s way of running laps, or a nightly routine that she must complete before coming in, but we watched her do this for at least 10 minutes! She was pretty irritated when other goats were blocking her way.
Goat ultrasounds! We knew a handful of our girls were bred before ultrasounds - they look the part! We were worried about one that hasn’t looked like she gained any weight, and she was open - ugh! Ironically, she came in heat the night we ultrasounded! So hopefully she took this time. Enjoy a cute little goat via ultrasound in the video below.
Dinner time! Such good goaties - they know exactly which stall is theirs and go and wait (not always so patiently) for us to let them in to eat. 🙂
Our babies are now 1 week old and bouncing everywhere! The doeling will be retained, but the 2 bucklings are available. These two bucklings come from great milking lines! Dam: Udderly Topnotch Biced Levian 2*M Levian milked 4 pounds a day last year with a single buckling. Sire: Udderly Topnotch KT Spazz DS: Udderly Topnotch Spatzy Cline I will put udder pictures in the comment section. Spatzy Cline milks 5-6 pounds a day!!!! She will have her milk star as soon as ADGA processes them. Message me with any interest in one of her boys. (Both white ones are the bucklings.)
While I would love to keep all of these sweet faces, many of them will be looking for homes when they are old enough to be weaned from mom. We have a clean tested herd for CAE, CL, and Johnes. All are able to be registered. Send me a message if you see a kid you want more information about.
